Based at either Rockhampton, Townsville, Adelaide or Perth Are You Ready for take-off?   A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Payroll Coordinator to join our team at Alliance Airlines, thanks to the recent growth of the business.   What we're looking for   A motivated self-starter who thrives working in a dynamic environment.   The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of Alliance fortnightly payroll, in addition (but not limited) to the following:     Timely and accurate processing of the fortnightly payroll for all staff in accordance with the current Enterprise Agreements, contracts and company policies and procedures Ensure the Company complies with its obligations under relevant employment law and current industrial instruments including remuneration changes such as salary changes and allowances Production, reconciliation and upload of reports for superannuation, workcover and other employer obligations Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of new hires, contractor employees, position transfers, promotions and terminations Ensuring all leave entitlements are administered efficiently and recorded correctly Accurate and timely preparation of EOM & EOY payroll reports Maintain positive and constructive working relationships with all departments Support and assist the Payroll Manager including assistance during periods of leave Ability to ensure positive employee experience when dealing with staff queries Ensuring safety is at the forefront of all activities and standards are maintained within a safe and effective environment Production of reports as required, including: Payslips, DI reporting, Payroll process reporting, Adhoc reports General other duties as reasonably required    To Be Successful   Qualification in accounting, business administration is desirable Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the legal obligations surrounding employment Strong knowledge of superannuation and taxation requirements for payroll Ability to interpret and understand industrial instruments and employment contracts Skills: Very strong focus on providing customer service Commitment to ensure payroll outcomes are delivered on time High level communication skills with ability to deal with staff from all levels Ability to work well with the Payroll Team and assist with assigning payroll queries and transaction processing Demonstrate initiative and problem solving skills Strong commitment to maintenance of highest standards of confidentiality Ability to prioritise and manage own workload Strong analytical and reasoning skills Accuracy and attention to detail Well developed computing skills, particularly Microsoft office suite of programs Interpersonal skills Experience: Minimum 3 years significant payroll experience Experience using CHRIS21 or similar payroll system End to end payroll processing experience Excellent knowledge and skills in Microsoft products particularly Excel   Alliance Airlines   Alliance is Australasia's leading provider of contract, charter and allied aviation and maintenance services currently employing more than 1,400 staff.  Alliance has world leading operational performance, a key attribute sought by its customers.
