Job Description Review timecards for error and/or omissions including schedule changesPrepare weekly payroll for both hourly & salaried employees including office staffManage employee exceptions including vacation pay, garnishments, deductions, and other adjustmentsResponsible for payroll journal entries in the ERP systemAnswer and solve payroll related inquiriesMaintain electronic archives of active and inactive employee filesHiring & termination setup in Jonas including employee and pay profilesMonthly WSIB Billing/Annual Reconciliation and submit paymentsQuarterly Employee Health Tax (EHT) Reconciliation and submit paymentsPrepare and submit ROE'sAnnual T4 reconciliation and issuanceProcess payroll deductions and remittancesShare weekly payroll report with management including hours, total payroll, and insightsThe Successful Applicant Possess a post-secondary education preferably with a degree/diploma in Human Resources, Business and/or Accounting - PCP, CHRP or CHRL designation a plus3 - 5 years' experience in Payroll/HR in a construction setting an assetJonas Software system experience is a MUST - Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite productsAbility to adapt to changing priorities and activities in a fast-paced and deadline driven manufacturing environmentAbility to use analytical and problem-solving skills in completing workSelf-motivated with strong organizational, multi-tasking, interpersonal and administrative skillsWhat's on Offer PTO
