About the Role This role is for a payroll professional with the primary purpose of contributing to the delivery of a best practice internal payroll service. You will provide first line customer service to SVHM employees, as well as administrative support to the Payroll Services team. You may also participate in an integrated Human Resources Helpdesk service as required. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Provide timely and accurate advice on payroll administration matters.Provide administrative support to the Payroll Services team.Under direction, undertake efficient, timely and accurate processing of payroll information and variations as required.Ensure compliance with statutory and organisational requirements through adherence to relevant processes and controls. Your Contribution Experience in a payroll consultant role.Demonstrated commitment to positive payroll related outcomes.Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships.Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain. About Payroll The Payroll Services team is responsible for providing services to a major metropolitan public hospital that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with staff including shift workers paid under multiple industrial agreements, processing two fortnightly pay runs paid in alternate weeks.
