Continuing, full time appointment Professional Level 5 Salary - $72,061 – $83,249 pa Plus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leave Casuarina Campus, Darwin Bring your extensive payroll expertise, attention to detail and proactive attitude to the University's Payroll team. About the Position As a Payroll Consultant , you form part of a small team of dedicated payroll professionals responsible for the end to end fortnightly payroll processing, processing of third party payments including; superannuation, payroll tax, workers compensation, calculation of terminations, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to provide advice on employment entitlements and conditions.  About You To be successful, you will require: Completion of a relevant degree in payroll or a related field, without subsequent relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training Demonstrated ability to use Technology One, Ascender Pay or similar payroll system to process end-to-end payroll tasks with a high degree of accuracy Ability to organise and prioritise workloads with minimal supervision to meet regular and conflicting deadlines Ability to receive and handle sensitive information in a proficient and confidential manner High level verbal and written communication skills, with a professional approach to interactions with team members, staff, clients, and other stakeholders Ability to engage in effective and proactive teamwork, recognising the skills of others, and utilising cooperative approaches Remuneration  Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 5. The base salary will be in the range $72,061 - $83,249 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $84,311 - $97,401 per annum including 17% superannuation.
