They are on the lookout for a highly skilled payroll professional to assist with a variety of projects to ensure the accurate and timely maintenance of related payroll records whilst adhering to the relevant statutory legislation and company policies and procedures. Position DescriptionReporting directly to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:
Work with a governance and compliance mindset, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulationsIdentify and address arising compliance and governance issues, and ensure resolution, risk reduction or capability buildEmbed processes to ensure all required regulatory requirements are processed efficiently, accurately and remitted on time – such as Payroll Tax, PAYG, Superannuation, etcPerform historical audits and remediate any identified issuesIdeal Candidate ProfileThe successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar position along with the following skills and attributes:
Strong payroll technical knowledge within the healthcare industry is essentialExperience with Affinity and Kronos would be advantageous (though not essential)Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExperienced in reviewing/updating procedural documentationConfident when dealing with stakeholders both internal and externalConduct Payroll reporting and make recommendations for improvementIdentify insights and trends through analysisDesign and develop data validation checks, analytical metrics and dashboardsPerform scenario modelling as requestedEscalate issues to the appropriate team for investigation and resolutionWhat's on Offer Attractive remuneration on offer dependent on experience (circa $130,000 - $145,000 package)Office location in Melbourne City Fringe - DocklandsDiscounts on various retail establishmentsWork from home 2 days per weekTo apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
