We are currently looking for a qualified Payroll Clerk to join our growing team.
This role involves overseeing various administrative tasks essential to our operations, as well as undertaking the following duties:
Set up and maintain payroll records for new and existing employees.Regularly update employee records with new information such as contact details, leave, overtime, and promotions.Compile payroll data from various sources, including timesheets and personnel records.Process wage and salary payments accurately and on time.Adjust employee pay records as necessary, issuing and recording any pay changes.Interpret industrial awards to ensure compliance with relevant standards.Provide guidance to employees and managers on payroll-related matters, including taxes, benefits, and deductions.Finalize employee records upon retirement, resignation, or transfer.Manage records related to superannuation and other deductions.This position reports to the Director.
Qualifications:
AQF Certificate II or IIIExperience:
At least one year of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualification.Skills:
