About the OPPORTUNITY We have a brand new opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join our growing payroll team based in Edinburgh Parks, SA reporting to the National Payroll Manager.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight after training.
As a Payroll Officer, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and in line with agreed payment dates.
Key responsibilities include: * Provide a payroll processing service to the business that is timely and accurate * Provide general and complex payroll advice support to employees * Participate and support the processing of cyclical payroll activities * Provide compliance with statutory requirements * Governance and Privacy principles to be applied * Act as a point of contact in relation to Payroll & time keeping systems, ensuring that our payroll data is structured appropriately and that accuracy is maintained through regular reviews About YOU * Approximately 2 years experience working in Payroll * Strong customer service experience * Experience managing pay enquires * Strong Stakeholder engagement * Experience using Oracle We believe in hiring for potential, we know that some candidates hesitate if they don't tick all the boxes.
