This is a full time permanent role based in our head office in Belmont, WA.
Reporting to the Team Lead, you will be providing support and helping ensure that St John employee's leave and pay each fortnight is process in a timely and accurate manner.
What you'll do: Ensuring pay and leave information is calculated correctly and entered accurately and efficiently into the payroll system Updating payroll system with changes to employee's payroll and leave information as required Ensuring that all leave and pay records are regularly reconciled to ensure accuracy Providing information and advice to staff in relation to payroll, remuneration and leave as appropriate Responding to payroll queries from employees, managers, and external parties within an adequate timeframe Collating sick leave documentation to be entered for payroll purposes Providing accurate and timely support in the reporting of absenteeism, workers compensation, etc.
as required Ensuring that all leave and pay records are regularly reconciled to ensure accuracy Assist in any other area as directed by the Line Manager or delegate What you'll need: Relevant experience working in a similar role in a busy payroll department Demonstrated experience working with a payroll information system in a large organisation Experience working within the requirements of various complex contracts, awards and agreements Strong Microsoft Excel skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Excellent attention to detail and numerical skills Previous experience with CHRIS 21 system (desirable) What's in it for you?
