Payroll Applications OfficerJob no: 518842Work type: full timeLocation: CrawleyCategories: FinanceAbout the opportunityBe a key player in this pivotal role in the payroll function.Be part of a team dedicated to continuous improvement, best practice, and innovative implementation.Full-time appointment on an ongoing basis.Base salary range: $91,833 – $97,052 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.You will take a lead role in the development and administration of the University's Payroll System and ensures appropriate controls are in place and risks are being addressed.Be responsible for the understanding and development of business processes within the Service Delivery Centres and the provision of timely, accurate and meaningful data.You will be a key contact for other stakeholders for version upgrades and administration of training for the main payroll system and other Systems related modules.About youTertiary qualification or equivalent competency.Substantial relevant experience with the development and administration of an Information System.Proficiency in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet, email, integrated personnel/payroll systems and financial systems.Knowledge of Ascender database maintenance basic concepts and payroll system is a must.Experience in the testing, implementation and updates of application patches, codes changes/updates and version changes.Note: A current National Police Clearance Certificate.Please apply online via the Apply Now button.
