Job Summary The Payroll and Training Officer is responsible for accurate and timely processing of employee remuneration, ensuring regulatory compliance. This role will also facilitate and support the design of training programs to enhance the skills and performance of our employees.
This position is a permanent part-time 26 hour/week position. Role Responsibilities: Payroll Accurately calculate and process employee remuneration to ensure timely payments.Provide accurate and timely payroll reports.Partner with supervisors and team leaders for payroll support.Update and manage employee information with Human Resources direction.Address and resolve payroll-related enquiries from employees promptly.Ensure compliance with legal requirements and organisational policies.Maintain the Payroll Standard Operating Procedure.Ensure conditions of employment are followed and updated.Maintain accurate payroll records for auditing and compliance purposes.Process new starters and employee terminations.Report payroll issues promptly to the HR Business Partner.Collaborate with Finance and Human Resources to reconcile payroll data.Support the Human Resources team as required.Training Build and maintain the training framework to meet site objectives.Assist with developing the site annual training schedule and budget.Build partnerships with key stakeholders to deliver training objectives.Partner with site Subject Matter Experts to deliver internal training programs.Manage compliance training activities, ensuring documentation.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.Does this sound like You?
