The Office of Public Prosecutions (OPP) is an independent statutory authority responsible for preparing and conducting criminal prosecutions in Victoria on behalf of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
Matters prosecuted by the DPP and the OPP involve serious crimes or matters that are of significance to the fair and effective operation of the Victorian criminal justice system.
The OPP consists of the Solicitor for Public Prosecutions and a staff of approximately 475 providing legal and corporate support to the DPP, the Chief Crown Prosecutor and Crown Prosecutors in the exercise of their independent roles in the criminal justice system.

Step into this newly created position at the Office of Public Prosecutions (OPP), where you'll play a crucial role in strengthening our people services.
About the Role:Reporting to the Manager People Services within the People and Culture team, as the Payroll and People Services Lead you'll ensure the OPP is supported with timely, accurate payroll services and provide expert guidance on complex queries.
As this is a newly established position, you'll also play an essential part in refining our payroll policies and systems, improving governance, and contributing to efficient processes and improved people experience.
You'll also deliver insights and analysis that help shape decisions across the organisation, making a real impact on the OPP's operations and our people's experience every day.

About YouYou bring extensive payroll experience, with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of systems and procedures.
You're great at managing complex queries, ensuring everything runs efficiently, and always handle sensitive information with sensitivity.
You're passionate about improving processes and supporting your team.
Experience with Chris21 and knowledge of the Victorian Public Service Agreement would be a bonus, but your ability to provide effective governance, collaborate and make a positive impact is what really matters.
