DescriptionThe Payroll and Implementation Officer role is the front face for our Australian office for new clients and at the heart of our ongoing payroll operations.
Implementing new payrolls for both Australia and New Zealand clients and managing a portfolio of customers providing the delivery of end-to-end payrolls, this role is critical in ensuring that the service is consistently delivered accurately and on time while providing a best-in-class customer experience.
As this is a busy bureau role, your portfolio will be varied with a range of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for clients with small headcounts, up to large corporate organizations.

On a typical day, you'll be...Providing new clients with their introduction into the Australian operations.Implementing clients onto both our local payroll engine and global systems.Managing your own client portfolio, processing end-to-end Australian payrolls, importing payroll information into our payroll software, and maintaining payroll records.Acting as the focal point for your clients, managing any queries they might have and giving them fantastic customer support.Keeping a keen eye on service delivery, looking out for opportunities for us to make improvements to our processes and procedures that can support the ongoing development of the team.Diligent and compliant with record keeping, keeping our client payroll manuals up to date, and ensuring that manual checks and calculations are accurate and that we are compliant with Data Protection regulations.Making sure that any risks to service delivery are communicated quickly and realistically to the client and to the appropriate managers, and being innovative and agile in bringing solutions or mitigations to the table. Does this sound like you?Considerable experience in processing Australian payroll and implementations, with good knowledge of payroll-related legislation, taxation rules, and superannuation requirements.Great numerical skills with a strong emphasis on quality and accuracy.A genuine and fervent commitment to delivering the highest standards of customer service, ready to go above and beyond to make sure the customer needs are at the heart of every action.An unusually high attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors or notice when things "just don't look right" - and motivated to follow these through to resolution.Exceptional competency with databases, systems, and software packages, especially Microsoft Excel.Experience with Employment Hero is highly desirable.Have the ability to manage multiple and often conflicting deadlines and tasks with a focus on service delivery.
