Salary: Up to $90,000.00 p/a + Superannuation + 5 weeks annual leave

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Payroll and Finance Officer to join our Perth Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager as a part of the Perth-based Finance Team, the Payroll Officer supports the financial sustainability of the IBN Group by assisting in the end-to-end management of all payroll processing and reporting. This includes new employee onboarding, fortnightly pay runs, processing of allowances and reimbursements.
The Duties: Manage end-to-end fortnightly payroll. Support employee onboarding, time and attendance, and leave accruals. Generate reports and prepare end-of-period payroll. Administer and reconcile monthly payroll lodgements activities such as payroll tax, SGC, child support, and Superannuation payments. Collaborate with all key stakeholders on payroll-related matters, resolving all payroll inquiries. Contribute to month-end and ad hoc reporting. Perform other accounts and finance duties outside of payroll, including processing invoices. Contribute to the development and improvement of WHS and risk management initiatives and practices in the workplace. Other ad hoc duties as required. The Requirements: Certificate IV or above in Accounting, Finance or a related field or at least 3+ years' experience in a similar role. Proven experience in payroll processing. Experience in using Infinate/Zone Payroll and MYOB highly desirable. Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations. Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality. An ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. Experience working with Aboriginal people, Aboriginal Corporations, and an understanding of Australian culture would be highly regarded. The Benefits: Salary Packaging. Physical Exercise Allowance.
