About the Opportunity 
This full time, ongoing position for Payroll & Compliance Manager within the People and Culture Team and attracts remuneration of $132,326- $138,384 (HEW 9) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.

You will join a team of HR professionals within the People & Culture Operations team to provide solutions that drive employee focused solutions to university clients and stakeholders.

Key Criteria
To be successful you will have experience in a similar role and will demonstrate experience in:
Leading a payroll team for delivering the end-to-end payroll – Ascender experience preferableManaging audit activities with regulators and internal stakeholders.Deep dive reviews, to support assurance programs of work.Comprehensive understanding of payroll management, wage compliance, legislative changes, and industry best practice.Design and delivery of process improvements (including technology)Managing the development and execution of internal payroll compliance programs of worksDevelopment and implementation of policies and proceduresConfidence in managing stakeholder relationships, including external governing bodies.About you
You will be able to demonstrate:
Proven success in collaborative stakeholder management skills with the ability to provide support and advice at all levels.How you have made an impact and influenced in a constructive, proactive manner.That you are flexible and adaptable to changing environments.Proven experience in establishing modernised payroll and compliance frameworks.Strong change management skills.Benefits
