This role is based at our Port Melbourne facility and is 100% onsite.Position Responsibilities:Reporting into the Finance Manager, as the Payroll and Administration Officer, you will be trained in the following statement of work:End to end full function Payroll for approximately 900 weekly (Award) and monthly (Non-Award) paid employees utilizing PeopleSoft 9.2Carry out day to day payroll functions of data processing, including overtime calculations, ad hoc manual payments and manager/employee queriesMaintenance of employee details in PeopleSoft 9.2 Time and Labour and Global Payroll modulesEffective customer service to employee pay queries and timely resolutions on a day to day basisFollow process, procedures and policies as set by Boeing Aerostructures AustraliaEffective business partnering with HR, Operations, IT and Finance where requiredExpat payrollGeneral administration duties as requiredBasic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):A keen interest in developing a career in Payroll.
Some prior experience in Payroll is advantageous although not essentialExceptional planning, time management and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA high level of attention to detail and comfortable working in a fast paced, autonomous and process driven environmentGood teaming and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage across a diverse workforceProactive and results oriented approachFull, unrestricted Australian working rightsPreferred Qualifications:Qualification in Business, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline preferred but not essentialAdditional information:This is a Non EBA IJC 9AHYIB position.
The successful candidate will be required to complete pre-employment checks and a 6 month probationary period.
