Immediate start for a Payroll and Administration Officer in Railton Your new company Hays are proud to be partnering with a large national manufacturing business based in Railton in their search for a full-time Payroll Officer due to retirement. This role is an immediate start and will be from the hours of 8am till 4.30pm
Your new role You'll be reporting into the Payroll Manager and working with the existing Payroll team who are based in Sydney. You'll be responsible for assisting with the processing a weekly payroll for over 100+ staff and be a central contact for staff enquiries. You'll also be required to assist with duties such as;
Processing leave, terminations and new starters, Manage superannuation payments Processing payroll journals Month-end payroll reconciliations Award interpretations What you'll need to succeed You'll possess knowledge of modern awards and have a proven record working on a 200 person + time in attendance payroll. Your written and verbal communication skills will be highly developed, and you'll be an excellent team player. You'll have the proven ability to work autonomously and will enjoy a challenge. Experience with a large system such as Chris21 would be highly advantageous.
