About the role: Be accountable for the accurate and timely payroll processing for our internal staff and external temporary or contract workers. In the position you will be managing payroll systems, reconciling accounts, and addressing payroll-related inquiries. In addition, you will assist with financial reporting, billing processes, and contribute to the smooth operation of the company's payroll and accounting function.
Key Responsibilities:
Process weekly payroll for all casual employees, and fortnightly payroll for internal staff. Invoice clients weekly for works carried out, including placement invoices. Reconcile all company accounts in preparation for BAS. Process all company expenses.Provide various financial reports including P&L reporting, weekly, month and quarterly reports. Experience in payroll and accounts preferably gained working in a recruitment businessDemonstrated experience with high volume data entry Working knowledge of Xero with intermediate Excel experienceCert III in Business Administration or similar, desired but not requiredStrong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skillsTo apply for this position, you must have Australian residency.
