Payroll Services are seeking to establish a pool of Payroll Advisers for fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during 2025 and up to the end of April 2026.
Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Applicants from the previous process DOE888455 who were marked as suitable are not required to reapply. The Role As a Payroll Adviser, you will provide advice on compliance of payroll processes, payroll systems and industrial entitlements that relate to conditions of employment.
The successful applicants will be required to ensure payroll business processes such as processing leave, salary and allowance payments, income tax and overpayments are delivered accurately and consistent with industrial instruments, legislation, policy and procedures.
This includes providing information and advice regarding payroll matters to internal and external clients and maintaining a focus on customer service delivery and continuous improvement of services.
The Payroll Adviser monitors payroll business processes and activities for relevant teams, including the creation and maintenance of employee records and processing transactions requiring manual calculations.
The position will also support effective team performance through monitoring, coaching, and providing appropriate support and guidance to enhance the skills, knowledge, and abilities of payroll officers.
