Payroll Administrator (3-Month Contract) - Doncaster Headquarters/Hybrid

Role PurposeWe are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will serve as a primary service driver and expert practitioner, delivering timely, efficient, and accurate payroll services. You will ensure compliance with legislative and industrial agreements while providing responsive customer service to employees and agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Perform end-to-end payroll processing and administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with relevant industrial agreements and legislative requirements.
Accurately process payroll adjustments, master data changes, taxation, and superannuation contributions.
Administer WorkCover, redundancy, and termination payments as per organizational policies.
Maintain confidentiality while setting up new employees in payroll systems and handling sensitive payroll data.
Serve as a key point of contact for payroll inquiries, delivering high-level customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, recommend changes, and drive efficiency within payroll systems.
Collaborate with Workplace Relations, Human Resources, and Managers for pay condition interpretations and system setups.
Uphold safety standards, report incidents, and support health and safety initiatives.
Role Requirements
Experience in large, complex payroll functions, preferably within an award-based environment.
Proficiency in payroll data preparation, entry, and processing.
Advanced numeracy, clerical, and computer skills, with experience in Payroll Time & Attendance systems.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience with Chris21 Payroll System is desirable.
Current Victorian Driver's Licence required.
