Working closely with the Finance, Information Services and Support, and Employee Engagement teams, we have an opportunity for an experienced Payroll Administrator. This position will be offered as a part-time 12-month fixed term role. The Payroll Administrator reports to the Payroll Officer and has a close working relationship with a range of stakeholders, internal and external to the School.
About the role:Key responsibilities of this position include:
Processing monthly and fortnightly timesheet and payroll dataSetting up new employees in the system in accordance with contracts of employmentUpdating and maintaining employee data in the payroll system, i.e., personal details, taxation, superannuation, bank account numbers, etc.Processing leave applications and adjustmentsAbout you:Applicants must possess:
Payroll processing experience (experience with Frontier/iChris/HR21 would be an advantage but is not essential)Knowledge of payroll legislation requirements and award interpretationWorking with Children Check (VIC Employment)Current National Police CheckGeelong Grammar School is committed to the safety of all students and has a zero tolerance of student abuse.
