About the role:

In this position, you will be part of the Finance & Accounting Team, reporting to our VP, Corporate Controller.
You will be responsible for managing external payroll providers or processing in house payrolls, setting payroll policies and procedures, and ensuring a positive payroll experience for all employees.
This role provides support to the Finance Team, HR Team, Employees, and external parties on payroll related queries.

Your contribution will be: Payroll processing: Responsible for end-to-end in house cycle payroll for Australia and New Zealand.Responsible for end-to-end outsourced payroll for Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia.Manage payroll taxes, superannuation, pensions, workers compensation reporting and employee benefits/reconciliations.Manage year-end payroll reporting & payroll statutory fillings.Manage leave systemsManage payroll on-boarding & off-boarding of employeesLiaise with HR team regarding new hires, terminations, leaves, remuneration and conditions of service including interpreting awards/agreements in relation to tax, allowances and other pay and benefit componentsHandle employee queries and escalations Payroll accounting: Manage all payroll-related journal entries for processing in our accounting systemManage payroll-related accruals and balance sheet reconciliationsReview payroll month end pack for allocated regions.Work with Finance & Accounting team on payroll related analyses for budgeting and reporting Audit: Manage general payroll audit queries General Be the backup for payroll for our international entities, as required.Integrate payroll following merger & acquisitions, as required.Manage payroll-related projects, as required.Independently and proactively analyse, assess and resolve issues in creative and efficient ways.Leads and contributes to development of company through various solutions and process improvements, and guides development of new ideas for payroll processes and team.Enhance relationship and collaboration with internal and external teams.Assist with various Adhoc projects within accounting/finance team To be successful, we think you need: Bachelor's degree in accountingMinium of 3 years of accounting experiencePrefer 3 years of experience with payrolls in the APAC region, preferably for a global company.Strong accounting experience related to payroll accounting including posting all payroll in the general ledger, bonus, commission, and leave accruals.Expertise preferred in Australia and New Zealand payrolls processing, as well as payroll tax legislation and practices.Experience with NetSuiteStrong Excel skillsHigh integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.People, time and project management skillsExperience in high growth & Scaling tech environments.Outstanding analytical, problem solving, communication & prioritization skills.
