Reporting to the Group Head of Finance, you will be responsible for ensuring each month's payroll accounting tasks are completed and reconciled in an accurate and timely fashion, supporting our SVHA Private Hospitals, Care Services and Corporate Offices. Your role will be pivotal in processing payroll journals, maintaining liability workbooks, preparing month-end general ledger reconciliations, working collaboratively with other P&C functions to manage administrative duties, and ensuring effective communication of relevant and accurate information to all stakeholders.This position is Permanent Full Time, available to start immediately and is based in our Bowen Hills Head Office with the ability to work in a hybrid arrangement – WFH and office.Key responsibilities of the role:Manage payroll processing to the general ledgers across all entities of St Vincent's.Conduct payroll calculations for provisions and prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for payroll liability balances ensuring accuracy and compliance.Understand and adhere to evolving payroll regulations and their implications for profit and loss reporting and balance sheet liabilities.Ensure relevant and accurate payroll records and financial support is provided to all stakeholders in a timely manner while understanding St Vincent's multi-EBA payroll environment.Deliver high quality, timely and effective service to stakeholders at varying levels.Update and maintain records, data files and reporting to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.Things that work for us:Proven experience in a high volume, pressure driven environment within a similar large and complex organisation with multiple entities.Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with employees, hiring managers, and stakeholders at all levels.Ability to guide and support on multiple priorities simultaneously and seamlessly while maintaining attention to detail.Strong payroll accounting and administration skills and ideally proficient with various systems such as iChris/Chris21, D365 and/or UKG (desirable).Things that work for you:Ability to visibly see your impact on the business and its service.Competitive salary packaging options.Discounted private health insurance.Employee Assistance Program for staff and their families.Access to the Fitness Passport (FP).Why become part of St Vincent's?
