About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at the Abbotsford office in a full-time role as a Payments Officer. Reporting to the Accounts Manager, you will be part of a small and dynamic team. The day-to-day operations include tasks associated with payments, invoicing, and accounts receivable. Responsibilities
Invoicing for domestic sales business. Generation of shipping and container invoices (when they finish packing and loading) and nomination fees. Actioning required contract amendments. Daily reconciliation of contracts in Salesforce and Agtech. Generating and distributing statements at the end of the month. Manage credit application process including collation and collection of supporting information and accounts. Answer queries from growers and clients for storage, outturn and receival of charges related. AP invoice/credit note entries in SAP (EGPL, Gsmart Storage and Misc charges). Sorting out incoming mail for invoices/statements for corporate and storage handling side. Create, amend and delete cardholder login access in Concur.
Experience
To be successful in the role, you will have: 1-2 years experience in AR and AP. Previous customer-focused role. A demonstrated understanding of the grain industry and supply chain. Excellent oral and written communication skills. IT skills with proficiency in MS Office programs, especially Excel. A demonstrated understanding of software programs such as Microsoft Office, GrainSmart and SAP Business 1 (preferable). Positive and flexible attitude.
