About the role:
The Payments Officer will work collaboratively with the Finance team to deliver our Finance plans and objectives.
The Payments Officer will be responsible for payment of Vendor invoices.
Key Responsibilities Prepare payment runs according to agreed schedule.Ad-hoc payment runs as required.Ensure that payment runs are approved in bank by approvers.Process payment run in Business Central in a timely manner.Ensure all payments are allocated.Reconcile Vendor statements as required. Skills & Experience: Experience in a similar Accounts Payable position within the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.Previous exposure and experience working through mergers or organisational changes.Previous experience in international payments is desirable but not essential.Excellent skills in Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Forms.Previous skills and knowledge of financial software (e.g., Business Central or other similar platforms).Ability to resolve accounting and finance issues through research and analysis.Sufficient knowledge to perform recurring financial duties with a reasonable degree of independence.Command knowledge to be a dependable resource to the finance team.Ability to identify areas for improvement to ensure continuous improvement.
