About the role:
The Payments Officer will work collaboratively with the Finance team to deliver our Finance plans and objectives. The Payments Officer will be responsible for payment of Vendor invoices.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare payment runs according to agreed scheduleAd-hoc payment runs as requiredEnsure that payment runs are approved in bank by approversProcess payment run in Business Central in a timely mannerEnsure all payments are allocatedReconcile Vendor statements as required Skills & Experience: Experience in a similar Accounts Payable position within the pharmaceutical or FMCG industryPrevious exposure and experience working through mergers or organisational changesPrevious experience in international payments is desirable but not essentialExcellent skills in Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, FormsPrevious skills and knowledge of financial software (e.g., Business Central or other similar platforms)Ability to resolve accounting and finance issues through research and analysisSufficient knowledge to perform recurring financial duties with a reasonable degree of independenceCommand knowledge to be a dependable resource to the finance teamAbility to identify areas for improvement to ensure continuous improvement Benefits & perks:
