Paving Technician/ Level HandHobart, TASAptella PaveSmart has been providing Surveying and Paving services to major infrastructure projects such as Airports, Highways, Motorways and other high tolerance pavement jobs throughout Australasia and the USA.Our experienced survey consultancy teams provide complete control of any asphalt surfacing project, removing risk and smoothing the path to success.As a part of the role, you will be utilising the proprietary Pavesmart Technology and other level control systems in conjunction with survey data to assist in the material laying process and providing the client with a service that ensures they are meeting their depth level requirements, contract level tolerances, and smoothness requirements.Requirements:Liaise on a daily basis with site supervisors and engineering staff.Communicating regularly with the plant operator and site staff to ensure level controls are maintained.Asphalt Paving Machine control using our proprietary PaveSmart system.Installing control networks.To be considered, we are seeking the below:Current Driver LicenceConstruction Induction CardRII and/or VOCs Nice to HaveHave a positive attitude and strong work ethicHighly Reliable and PunctualAble to Work Days, Nights, Weekends, and Away Work as NeededAble to Pass a Pre Employment Medical and Police CheckWhy Join Us?Aptella is a company with an inclusive and collaborative working culture.
