Reference Number: 1227 Closing Date: 22-11-2024 Employment Type: Permanent Full Time About the Opportunity Council is seeking a Labourer to join their team based in Jandowae.
You will be part of the Works Maintenance team responsible for maintaining Council's roads and infrastructure.
Reporting to the Works Supervisor, you will: Undertake a range of labouring skills in the environment of civil construction and maintenance; Undertake traffic control duties as required; and Have an awareness of relevant safety standards and requirements.
About yourself The successful applicant will: Have an understanding and experience in various aspects of Civil Construction and maintenance works; Have a current 'C' Class Driver's Licence (essential) and a HR (Heavy Rigid)/MR (Medium Rigid) Drivers Licence (desirable); Have a Work Health and Safety Construction Induction White Card; Have knowledge of the MUTCD, Level 1 and/or 2 (desirable); Be physically fit and enjoy manual labour, and willing to undergo a pre-employment medical; Possess good time management skills and the capability to complete allocated tasks while working within a team.
This role is full time, working 38 hours per week with a fortnightly RDO.
