Job Description In this role you will work in various admission areas processing elective and emergency patient bookings and admissions.
You will be tasked with conducting health fund eligibility checks and estimates, pre-admission organisation, admission and discharge of patients, and bed allocations.
This role will also involve responding promptly to enquiries and requests, handling patient accounts, as well as general administrative duties including data entry.
The Patient Services staff are required to work over the seven days over a 24 hour period.
Flexibility to work a rotating roster will be required.

To be successful in this role… Your well-developed administration, customer service and people skills see you adjust quickly and work effectively as part of any team that you join.
Excellent time management and organisation skills enable you to prioritise effectively to manage multiple requirements.
Previous administration experience in the health care sector, medical or health fund industry would be advantageous but is not essential.

You will have: The ability to work day, afternoon or evening shifts on a rotating roster.
Administration experience with a strong attention to detail.
