SA Health Job reference: 873274 Location: 5540 - PORT PIRIE Job status: Casual Eligibility: Open to Everyone Yorke and Northern Local Health Network, Port Pirie Salary $29.57 to $31.81 per hour + 25% casual loading Casual Contracts available (up to 30 June 2025) Overview We are now accepting applications for casual Patient Services Clerks to join our dedicated Patient Services team to provide a high quality, confidential, customer focused administrative service to clients, staff and visitors for Port Pirie Regional Health Service.
As a Patient Services Clerk, you will be responsible for providing registration of inpatient, outpatient and emergency activity, providing accurate and timely data processing of patient data.
You will be required to provide switchboard service to the health unit and Community Health.
About You Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing you to effectively interact with patients, staff, and external stakeholders. Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Strong customer service skills. Proficiency in computer operations, including word processing and office administration tasks, with a keen eye for detail in data entry. Adherence to strict confidentiality protocols, maintaining the highest standards of privacy and security in healthcare settings.
