We are seeking a dedicated Patient Services Assistant to join our team on a casual basis at Mount Gambier & District Health Service.

About the Role: In this dynamic and essential position, you will be responsible for delivering quality catering and cleaning services to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our patients.
Your key tasks will involve food preparation, delivery to patients, general housekeeping, and maintaining cleanliness across the health service.
You may also assist with laundry duties as required.
You will work with a dedicated team to create a positive experience for patients, ensuring they receive timely meals and that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.
With your flexibility and willingness to help, you will contribute significantly to the smooth operation of our facility.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and deliver food to patients, including breakfast trolleys, salads, and sandwiches Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the hospital, including mopping, sweeping, window cleaning, and bed making Assist with laundry services, including linen collection and delivery Work both independently and collaboratively with team members Provide high-quality customer service while maintaining confidentiality and discretion Why Join Us?
