Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for the next customer service driven Administration Officer to join our team! Join our large Patient Services team in either a Part time (3 days per week) or casual role here at the Sydney Adventist Hospital. Here at the San, we take pride in providing a high-quality care to patients, their families and visitors alike.


As a Patient Services Administration Officer, you will be responsible for:


Providing exceptional customer service to our patients, face-to-face and over the phonePreparing paperwork and admission of patientsPerforming health fund eligibility checks and providing patients with informed financial consentWholeheartedly contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous quality improvement, actively contributing to a culture of comradery and teamworkand participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team to provide our patients with specialised and dedicated care.
Who we are looking for: Previous administration experience and a strong interest in the healthcare industryOutstanding customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and go above & beyond for patients and their families.Excellent interpersonal communication skills for patient and family education, as well written communications skills for accurate, and transparent documentationSound computer skillsYou will be naturally friendly, genuine and professional when liaising with patients, their families, visitors, and your colleagues.You'll be a quick learner, as well as self-driven and motivated in your workExperience in the healthcare and hospital industry is highly desirable.
