Remuneration: $33.30 - $34.33 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options THE ROLE: The Patient Liaison Officer is a valued member of Calvary Mater Newcastle (CMN). As a Patient Liaison Officer you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Day Centre treatment team under the direction of the Nursing Unit Manager. DUTIES: Perform administration functions relevant to the department. Schedule Cancer Treatment appointments according to patient's treatment plans and ensuring accuracy. Meet and greet staff, patients and visitors using a friendly and professional manner. Communicate important issues arising. Assist clinical staff with administrative matters. ABOUT YOU: Advanced Customer Service skills, including frontline/reception duties with demonstrated communication, organisation and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience and a high level of computer literacy in a windows environment. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated commitment to customer service and quality improvement.
