This role acts as the primary liaison between the company and these associations, driving collaboration on strategic projects and securing advocacy support for policy initiatives that improve patient access to our medications.This role involves developing and executing strategies to promote our company's reputation, engage with stakeholders, and ensure alignment with regulatory and policy environments.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare, a strong understanding of public affairs, and experience navigating complex regulatory landscapes.Relationship Development & Strategic PartnershipsBuild, maintain, and strengthen collaborative relationships with key patient association groups, including national and regional organisations relevant to our therapeutic portfolio.Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships that align with shared goals, such as patient education, support services, or policy advocacy.Develop, drive, and implement the patient advocacy strategy for respective therapeutic areas, focusing on priority pre-launch, launch, and in-market brands.Work collaboratively cross-divisionally and/or cross-functionally to bring in critical patient insights to inform strategies and key decisions.Strategic CollaborationWork with advocacy groups to co-develop programs that support patients, including awareness campaigns, support resources, and education initiatives.Collaborate on projects that highlight the impact of our therapies, such as research initiatives, patient case studies, or data sharing.Leverage partnerships to address systemic challenges in patient access and improve medication availability.Policy AdvocacyMobilise support from patient association groups to advocate for policies that support the industry's growth and sustainability.Use patient stories, research, and real-world evidence to demonstrate the effectiveness of our medications in improving health outcomes.Develop strategies to position the organisation as a trusted partner within the advocacy landscape.Internal Collaboration & ReportingLiaise with internal teams to ensure patient advocacy efforts align with business objectives and regulatory guidelines.Provide insights and recommendations from patient advocacy organisations to inform decision-making and strategic planning.Track and report on partnership outcomes, project milestones, and advocacy progress.QualificationsProven experience in patient advocacy, stakeholder engagement, or healthcare partnerships, within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and stakeholders.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.Demonstrated understanding of healthcare systems, policy environments, and patient access challenges.Background in policy advocacy or health communications preferred.Additional InformationYou'll be joining a highly motivated, agile team where your ideas and work will directly influence the direction and progress of an expanding global company in a hyper-growth phase.
