Your part in St Stephen's Hospital team:
Working as a Patient Administration Officer, you will be the face of St Stephens. You will be responsible for providing excellent Customer Service to Patients, Visitors, Community members, Doctors and staff. You will provide administration support as required to the Patient Administration Team Leader.
Duties will also include:
Switchboard
Maintaining Lodge bookings
Maintaining Car bookings
Patient account payments
Liaising with Volunteers, Clinical Managers and Hospital Staff
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
End of day banking
Maintaining workplace manual
Producing Identification cards for staff
Flexibility to train across all administration areas
What makes a difference for us:
Must have experience in managing a busy Main Reception area
Previous Hospital or Medical experience highly desirable but not essential.
Experience in excellent Customer Service in a Healthcare setting
Evidence of ability to constantly multi task
Ability to communicate with Patients, Clinicians, Community members effectively
Well developed interpersonal skills
Efficient time management
Organised with an excellent attention to detail
Excellent computer skills
Flexibility with working days and times between the hours of 7am to 7pm. Weekend work as required
