The RoleThe successful applicant will be part of a team that provides billing and collections support to several Ramsay Health Care private hospitals across Victoria. This is a great entry-level role for candidates looking to kickstart their career within a fantastic team who will fully support you to grow your career from the beginning.
Key accountabilities of the role include: Liaising with Health Funds and CustomersFollowing up on unpaid accounts (debt collection)Maintaining the Aged Trial Balance to required KPIsGeneration and submission of accounts to patients, health funds and third party payersInterpreting health fund contractsAbout YouThis position is suited to a reliable, self-motivated individual with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail, and someone who can manage their workload to meet key deadlines. Additionally, you should possess a strong customer focus and demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate well with stakeholders at various levels of the organisation.
Essential Skills and ExperienceProven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as requiredStrong work ethics and reliable workerAbility to complete tasks within designated timeframes and meet KPI targetsExceptional organisational skills with the ability to work under pressureIntermediate Computer literacy in Microsoft ExcelDesirable Skills and ExperienceAccounts Receivable knowledgeExperience in hospital mainframe systemsRelevant health services experienceKnowledge of Health fund contracts and accounting processesBasic knowledge of accounting principlesCertificate in Medical TerminologyRemunerationA base hourly rate of $31.34 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowance.
