Permanent full-time or casual opportunity | Position based at North QLD Billing Hub at Ramsay Clinic Caloundra The Role The successful applicant will be part of a team that provides billing and collections support to several Ramsay Health Care private hospitals across QLD.

Key accountabilities of the role include: Liaising with Health Funds and CustomersFollowing up on unpaid accounts (debt collection)Maintaining the Aged Trial Balance to required KPIsGeneration and submission of accounts to patients, health funds and third party payersInterpreting health fund contractsAbout You This position is suited to a reliable, self-motivated individual with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail, and someone who can manage their workload to meet key deadlines.
Additionally, you should possess a strong customer focus and demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate well with stakeholders at various levels of the organisation.
Essential Skills and Experience Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as requiredStrong work ethics and reliable workerAbility to complete tasks within designated timeframes and meet KPI targetsExceptional organisational skills with the ability to work under pressureIntermediate Computer literacy in Microsoft ExcelDesirable Skills and Experience Accounts Receivable knowledgeExperience in hospital mainframe systemsRelevant health services experienceKnowledge of Health fund contracts and accounting processesBasic knowledge of accounting principlesCertificate in Medical TerminologyRemuneration A base hourly rate of $32.44 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowance.
