Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is seeking a dedicated Pathology Specimen Collector to join our dynamic team.

Location: Fraser Coast, QLD (Hervey Bay, Maryborough and Burrum Heads)
Employment Type: The role offers a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per fortnight, with the potential to work up to full-time hours (75 hours per fortnight), depending on organisational requirements.
Opening hours 0600-5.30 PM and rotating Saturdays (3-3.5 hrs)
Key ResponsibilitiesCollect biological specimens (blood, urine, etc.)
from patients in a safe and professional manner.Ensure all samples are labelled and processed according to established protocols.Provide exceptional patient care, addressing any concerns or questions.Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the collection area.Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.What we are looking forWe greatly value candidates with customer service experience who will make patient care their number one priority.
Other desirable skills and attributes you would have include:
Previous experience working in the health, aged care or community sectors and/or a Certificate III in Pathology Specimen CollectionThe confidence to work independently, sometimes in solo collection centresEfficient time management and problem-solving skillsA willingness to learn new things and enjoy variety within their roleA First Aid Certificate - Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology will assist successful applicants to obtainSuccessful candidates will embark on a comprehensive paid training course during their first twelve months of employment.
Upon completion of training, candidates will receive an SNP training certificate.
