About Your Next OpportunityWe now have an opportunity for a full-time Pathology Specimen Collector to join our Pathology Collection team in our Warwick Collection Centre.
You will work shifts between 7:00 am and 4:30 pm from Monday to Friday, for a minimum of 75 hours per fortnight. You will be also be required to participate in a rotating roster for a shift on Saturday 7:00 am - 11:30 am. NO Sunday work.
Your primary responsibility will be taking blood samples from patients and maintaining positive relationships with external clients, GPs, and Medical Centre staff. Some of the more specific responsibilities of the position will be to:
Treat our patients with care and compassion;Receive urine and faeces samples;Record patient information;Complete online training via our eLearning training system; andLiaise with referrers and ancillary services in a hospital setting.About YouIf you love helping others and have a background in customer service, retail, front-end reception, or any customer-facing position, this is the role for you!
You will embark on a comprehensive paid training course during your first twelve months of working with us. Once you've completed your training, you will receive an SNP training certificate.

Although not essential, previous experience working in the health, aged care or community sectors with a natural knack for caring for others will also be regarded highly.
