About the Role
We are seeking a casual Pathology Collector to join our dedicated team to work at clinics across Sydney.
This role will involve working weekend shifts (Fri/Sat/Sun) in the hospital doing ward rounds.
Duties and Responsibilities: Collection of blood and other samples from patientsECG's and Holter monitorsProcessing of Pathology SpecimensAbility to work independently and as part of a teamClerical duties and basic IT skillsHigh-level communication skills with colleagues and patientsAbility to provide dedication to patient careAbility to prioritise and work under pressureComply with Work Health and Safety About You Experience working in a hospital setting doing ward rounds essentialEligible to work within Australia - Sponsorship is not availablePossess a current driver's licence, WWC Check & Police ClearanceObtained a Cert 3 in Pathology CollectionA clear and patient communicatorHands on venepuncture experience is mandatory for a minimum of 6 months unsupervised not including placement hoursHave a positive attitudeHave a passion for Pathology CollectionHave a flexible approach to work and availability, be prepared to be deployed at different locations and be flexible to work across the week.
