What You Will Be Doing As a Pathology Applications Specialist, you will be responsible for providing application support and configuration, including troubleshooting issues, offering user support and training, and performing release testing and configuration tasks for the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
You will work closely with laboratory disciplines to coordinate and support the implementation of LIS modules, ensuring smooth deployment and successful go-live activities.
Additionally, you will assist laboratory users in troubleshooting problems, identifying solutions, and advising on the outcomes.
Your role will also involve participating in functional release testing and collaborating with developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software within defined timelines and budgets.
You will be required to adhere to IT frameworks such as SDLC and governance protocols, ensuring all activities meet coding, security, and deployment standards.
Moreover, you will contribute to maintaining a strong team culture of agility and respect while prioritizing health and safety in the workplace.

Ideally, you would come from a laboratory or medical background.
