Our famous Curried Scallop Pies, made with locally sourced produce, have earned us a reputation throughout Tasmania and the world.
All our products are handmade on site and made fresh daily, including a wide variety of sweet and savoury goods.
We offer pies, cakes, breads, salad rolls, and gourmet sandwiches, all served with great coffee or if you would rather select from our extensive range of hot or cold drinks.
As our business is growing and more opportunities arise, we are looking for a full time Pastrycook to join team.
Daily tasks include: Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes Ensure the quality and consistency of baked goods Decorate pastries with icing, fondant, and other decorative elements Monitor inventory and ordering supplies as needed Clean and maintaining baking equipment and work areas Assist in the development of new pastry recipes and products Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times Cook fillings for pies Successful candidates must have: At least five years' work experience; Relevant qualification; Attention to detail and creativity In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $73,150 + Superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
