Croissanteria, an exciting new venue in the heart of Melbourne Crown specializing in Viennoiserie, sandwiches, and high-quality coffee, is seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day kitchen operations and the team Prepare and oversee the production of high-quality Viennoiserie, bakery items, and fine dining pastries Develop and create innovative menu items, with the flexibility to adjust based on seasonal ingredients and trends Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Train and mentor junior kitchen staff Manage inventory and order supplies as needed Collaborate with the Head Chef to achieve culinary excellence Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a bakery, pastry, or fine dining environment Strong knowledge of Viennoiserie, bakery, and fine dining pastry techniques Excellent leadership and team management skills Creative and flexible approach to menu development Ability to work clean, organized, and reliably in a fast-paced setting Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays What We Offer:
