Job Overview: As a Full-Time Cookie Baker at Happy Alley, you'll play a crucial role in our bakery's success.
You'll be responsible for crafting new and exciting cookie flavours, baking and decorating a wide range of cookies, managing inventory, and maintaining a pristine baking environment.
You will also be in charge of creating monthly cookie specials, ensuring a rotating menu that delights our customers, and upholding the highest standards of quality control.
Key Responsibilities: Create New Flavours: Develop innovative and delicious cookie recipes that will captivate our customers and keep them coming back for more.Bake & Decorate: Prepare, bake, and decorate cookies with precision and creativity.
Ensure consistency and exceptional quality in every batch.Manage Stock: Oversee inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, making sure we are well-stocked and minimise waste.Maintain Clean Environment: Keep the baking area and equipment clean and organised, following all health and safety regulations.Monthly Specials: Design and implement monthly cookie specials that align with seasonal themes or trends.Rotating Menu: Develop and manage a rotating menu of cookie flavours to offer variety and keep the customer experience fresh and exciting.Quality Control: Conduct regular checks to ensure all cookies meet our high standards for taste, appearance, and freshness.Qualifications: Proven experience as a baker, preferably with a focus on cookies.Strong creative flair with a passion for developing new flavours and recipes.Excellent knowledge of baking techniques and decoration skills.Ability to manage inventory and ordering, as required.Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.Benefits: Competitive salary.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A fun, supportive work environment with a passionate team.If you're a creative and driven baker with a love for cookies and a dedication to quality, we want to hear from you!
