What you will be doing: Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow ColleaguesEnsure daily checks of all mis en place to ensure freshness and quality standardsPrepare daily production of breads, rolls, muffins and other baked goods according to standard recipes for Banquets, ARC Restaurant & In-Room DiningInspect product for quality and consistency during and after bakingReview production schedules to determine variety and quantity of goods to bakeMonitor inventory of supplies and order stock based on daily and weekly requirementsAssist in the Banquet Kitchen as neededComplete production sheets needed for the daily operationMaintain consistency for all breakfast bakeries and pastriesFollow Kitchen policies, procedures and service standards including safety and sanitation policies Qualifications Your experience and skills include: Previous 2 years' experience in a Bakery requiredJourneyperson's papers or international equivalent preferredDiploma/Certification in a Culinary discipline preferredBC Food Safe Certification requiredAbility to work either 11:00 pm-7:00 am shift or 3:00 am-11:30 amStrong interpersonal and problem-solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times Additional Information Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
