As a Pastry Cook at Merivale, you will need the following experience and attributes:2+ years relevant experience in the industry.Knowledge around preparing pastry products including doughs, pastry fillings, cakes, buns, biscuits, and bread.An understanding of baking, shaping, and decorating pastry and bread products.Worked in a quality restaurant, patisserie, cafe, or hotel.Experience operating large machines including mixers, ovens, and dough forming machines.An understanding of HACCP, hygiene practices, and following WH&S.Can follow a recipe and accurately weigh ingredients.Good communication skills, attitude, and be a team player.The RewardYou will be joining a company that wants you to succeed, we offer:Competitive annual salary of $70,000 - $80,000.Amazing discounts at 90+ venues.Career and development opportunities through the Merivale Academy.Employee Assistance Program.Employee Referral Program.
