Core requirements Working as a critical member of the kitchen team, we seek an enthusiastic and creative Pastry Chef on a full-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a modern, driven Pastry Chef to assist with menu build, impart knowledge and experience and delight our guests taste buds.

The successful applicant will be responsible for: Preparation of delicious treats and desserts for corporate functions and events, including high teas and weddings Ensure consistently high standards of food preparation and quality Decorate pastries using a variety of icings, toppings for appeal Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, savory items and cookies Adhere to strict cleaning and food hygiene program Creatively contribute to food promotion Knowledge of all Pastry methods involved in the preparation of items produced in Pastry Kitchen Ensuring the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintain to meet Work Health & Safety regulations and HACCP food preparation guidelines Any other duties assigned by your manager About you Have a natural positive demeanor, with excellent communication, delegation and training skills Possess artistic and creative flair Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Willingness to work collaboratively with a multicultural diverse team Certificate in Commercial Cookery Level 4 or above, Certificate 3 in Patisserie or equivalent Flexible to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and WH&S standards Unrestricted Australian working rights Culture and Benefits Supplied meals during allocated rostered shifts Career growth opportunities Discounted onsite car parking Daily discounted coffee and dinning menu, including our world famous La Boca Bar and Grill How to Apply If you have the experience, we'll give you the opportunity.
