About the Opportunity: We are looking for Pastry Chefs de Partie to join our team. Assist the Head Pastry Chef with the day-to-day operations of the dessert section. You will be responsible for ensuring that your section of the kitchen operates to optimum efficiency. You will be an enthusiastic and highly energetic hospitality professional.
The Ideal Candidate Must Have:
Demonstrated experience as a Pastry Chef in an a-la-carte restaurant
Resilient and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude
Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
Excellent communication and time management skills
Outgoing personality and genuine interest in the day-to-day operations
Excellent attention to detail
Calm and composed demeanour
Able and willing to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts
