Qualifications: Qualifications to teach Relevant Postgraduate qualifications desirable. Work Experience: At least five years' experience in a school wellbeing role with demonstrated capacity to support student learning and wellbeing outcomes across a whole school At least eight years' experience in a teaching role Experience in a leadership or middle leadership role in a school Detailed knowledge of contemporary issues and approaches relating to Learning and Wellbeing. Key Capabilities: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise, negotiate, advocate, and resolve conflicts Demonstrated experience in using school data to review and renew systems within a school in response to changing needs and contexts Experience in providing support to school communities during and post critical incidents Demonstrated experience in identifying strategies that lead to increased student engagement and enhanced wellbeing Ability to support school leadership teams to identify and develop educational, social and emotional initiatives to support children and young people who are vulnerable or at risk Well-developed organisational and time management skills with the capacity to work effectively both independently, as well as part of a multidisciplinary Pastoral Care team Ability to design and facilitate high-quality professional learning to support ongoing skill and knowledge development of staff and that aligns to system priorities.
