About the role: Service is an out of school hours care (OSHC / OOSH) and caters to Primary aged children, 5 - 12 years (an incredible profession).Ability to work collaboratively with the team to ensure a positive and encouraging work environment.Chance to step-in and work on areas of interest after a quarter.Support the ongoing professional development of the team, aligning with the current managementParticipate and maintain the well-balanced harmony within the team.Work within a structured team and oversee daily operations.Approx $70K + Super + Bonuses (pending 6-12 month role).This role is unique in its offering in that it is 2 different roles for the 12 months.

First 6 months:
Off the floor, not counted in ratio (odd occasion may be needed).Block shifts, no mornings.Approx 9:30 - 5:30 / 10:30 - 6:30.38 hours per week.Educational leader for the whole time.6-12 months:
The next phase of the position is flexible and will be a balance of the Educational Leader position and as a Team Leader (such as it could be Educational Leader for 2/3 days of the week and Team Leader on the other days).This can be a chance to focus on a passion area of yours within the service and extend on that, still whilst gaining Educational Leader experience.Hours may decrease after the 6 months, however can work on this area or provides a chance to continue your own learning journey.About the service: Exclusive school site own space, spanning two buildings and in excellent condition / near new.Assist in management of under 165 place service.Competitive salary + 6 months performance bonusPromotes work life balance by allowing flexibility and block scheduling.Mixed/free play structure.Oversight of excellent facility maintenance.Utilisation of ample space on school grounds.Cultivation of strong relationships with the school and community, ensuring open lines of communication.Operation as a not-for-profit, community based and focused service with a long-term extension.Exceeding Rated service.Low staff turnover, lots of RP's on the team to share the day to day responsibilities.Great culture, one that is supportive of one another.Collaborative and inspiring of one another team in place. About You: OSHC experience highly desired, with ECE also considered.Educational Leader experience is highly desired.A collaborative leadership style, someone that will work with the team not take over the team.HLTAID012: Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting (or willingness to obtain).
CHCPRT025 Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk (or willingness to obtain).Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and stakeholders.A passion for supporting children.Ability to make connections, empathise and listen.A sound knowledge and understanding of the NQF and especially MTOP and MTOP V2.0.
