Job Summary Passenger Reduced Mobility Agents are vital in delivering a seamless and welcoming experience for passengers, from the terminal to the aircraft. Renowned for their helpfulness, expertise, and courteous demeanor, our Passenger Service team ensures each traveler is met with kindness, respect, and a warm smile. Whether assisting those with visible or non-visible disabilities or other specific needs, our agents embody the best of who we are.

With flexible shifts tailored to airline schedules—including early mornings, late nights, and weekends—our agents are always ready to support passengers. Physically strong and fit, they offer essential assistance, ensuring travel is accessible and worry-free for all.
Your activities Serve as the friendly face of our Guest Assistance Team, playing a pivotal role in creating a positive and supportive travel experience.Provide tailored assistance to guests with both visible and non-visible disabilities, as well as those with specific mobility needs. Escort them through pre-boarding, ensure a smooth journey to departure gates, and facilitate reunions with loved ones or support personnel.Prepare and maintain an adequate supply of Ground Support Equipment (e.g., wheelchairs) to ensure readiness for guests' travel.Embrace an active role, walking up to 20,000–30,000 steps daily, assisting guests into and out of wheelchairs, and accompanying them to their gates.Transport guests requiring mobility assistance throughout the terminal using buggies, ensuring timely arrivals at departure points.Provide compassionate assistance during flight disruptions or cancellations, helping guests navigate these situations with ease.Support boarding processes and handle various arrival and departure duties efficiently.Look for and implement ways to enhance service procedures and the overall guest experience.Ensure that all guests feel valued, comfortable, and respected throughout their travel.Collaborate with Guest Service Agents to provide comprehensive and seamless assistance when needed.Your profile Demonstrated customer service experience combined with roles involving physical, hands-on tasks.Background in supporting individuals with disabilities or specific needs, with a proven ability to build positive connections with guests and their families.Dedicated to providing outstanding and safe service.Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team-oriented approach.Shows a solid work ethic and a commitment to continuous learning and growth.Maintains composure under pressure and projects confidence.Adheres to high standards of presentation and grooming.Strong organisational skills and effective time management.Physically able to handle passenger baggage and operate wheelchairs when needed.Proficiency in English (additional language skills are an asset).Confident in using software and technology, with intermediate-level proficiency.Holds Australian citizenship or permanent residency with unrestricted work rights.Possesses a valid Australian driver's license and has reliable transportation.Minimum age requirement: 18 years or older.What we offer Permanent part-time employment.On-site employee parking available.Uniforms provided.Opportunities for career advancement.Accrual of annual and personal leave.Comprehensive & paid training and ongoing support provided.At Swissport, we believe in diversity, equal opportunity, and the power of our values to drive our success.
